Dr. Brandon Davis has been working as a psychologist in Grinnell since 2004 and opened Davis Psychological Services, PC in 2011. He is an Iowa native who earned his Ph.D. in Psychology from Texas A&M University. He performs a wide variety of psychological evaluations.

Rachael Stensrud graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with her Master's in Mental Health Counseling. Her passion is marital and individual counseling. Rachael believes the goal of counseling is to help individuals and marriages persevere through challenging times to find their full potential. Her therapeutic approach promotes an environment of acceptance and compassion. She believes that a positive therapeutic relationship between a therapist and client is essential to the growth process. She will work to create a collaborative, warm and comfortable environment in which clients can feel free to explore. Rachael incorporates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with a client-centered approach to promote a non-judgment self-acceptance, and behavior change in the areas of mindfulness, emotion regulation, relational effectiveness, and distress tolerance. Her clinical interests include couple counseling, trauma, religious and spiritual issues, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and difficult adjustments. During her time away from Davis Psychological, she stays busy with her three children and husband.

Chelsea has found she enjoys working with adults and children on finding their potential and what they need to grow in a healthy way. Chelsea works at creating an open, warm and safe space for individuals to safely explore themselves as well as process challenges they may have had to face in life. Chelsea enjoys guiding and exploring the world with her clients through creativity, mindfulness, and acceptance. Chelsea has a client centered-approach to help promote healthy relationships/boundaries, a better understanding of self and self-love, and dissecting thought patterns.
